Consideration?
Traditionally, Consideration is a word most people use to describe how others should be treated.
A good example of this is: "Give them some Consideration, it's their first day on the job."

In Business Development, Consideration is used in a different context.  It refers to the proper evaluation of
assets and any decisions made for a business.

Here are two examples of how Consideration was used in evaluating and deciding what Actions should be taken regarding a business:

For many years, books were a tangible product that were purchased in an existing brick and mortar store, and kept on a shelf when not in use.  Today, books are purchased as data.  The data is downloaded and read on a smartphone or tablet....thus book stores are now somewhat rare.

Video Rental stores existed in almost every strip mall in America. People would rent, watch, and return movies every day.  Now, movies have been converted into data, and are watched via internet streaming.  As for those movie rental stores....they are virtually nonexistent.

In the above examples, the preexisting businesses didn't fail because people stopped watching in-home movies or lost interest in reading books. They failed because the Leaders of those businesses decided not to give proper Consideration for ideas that could potentially grow their companies.

Therefore, every business leader must continue to face this ongoing question: "How am I going to give proper Consideration to ideas related to growth?"  Well, the good news is, if a business Leader can develop  methods for properly giving Consideration for new growth ideas, they will be able to grow and Define themselves in the marketplace.

Tap below and discover an even more important reason why business Leaders can't give proper Consideration to new growth ideas?
